Project Engineer (Construction / Architecture)

We are partnering with a leading Singapore-based design and project solutions consultancy with a strong presence across Asia. The company specializes in creating innovative healthcare, laboratory, and research environments. Bringing together expertise in interior design, space planning, workflow optimization, project management, and engineering, the team delivers end-to-end solutions that enhance functionality, efficiency, and user experience. Their portfolio spans government agencies, hospitals, research institutions, and private sector organizations, with a focus on sustainable, cost-effective, and technically sophisticated projects.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Division Manager, the Project Engineer will oversee and coordinate mechanical and electrical (M&E) works for design-and-build turnkey projects, ensuring successful execution from planning through completion. Working closely with project managers, designers, consultants, professional engineers, and subcontractors, the role involves reviewing engineering designs, managing site activities, leading technical coordination, preparing and reviewing shop drawings and specifications, and resolving technical issues on-site.

The successful candidate will ensure all works comply with project requirements, design intent, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines while contributing to the efficient delivery of high-quality projects.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is someone with minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the Construction, Facilities Management, and/or Architecture sectors. You will need to have proven engineering experience in Mechanical & Electrical projects, with strong working knowledge of MEP principles & technologies. You will also need to be proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and project documentations, with knowledge of AutoCAD.
