About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting project execution, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring smooth delivery of engineering solutions in semiconductor or cleanroom environments. This role involves both chemical and electrical systems, including tool utilities and ultra-pure piping installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and update detailed work progress and construction schedules.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to meet project milestones.
- Review technical drawings (GA, schematic, PFD) and assist in creating isometric and P&ID layouts using AutoCAD.
- Prepare BOQs, submit engineering documentation, and apply for PTWs.
- Support the Project Manager in tracking project scope, cost, and timeline.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and health standards.
- Oversee electrical systems installation, including wiring, power distribution, and control systems for tools and utilities.
- Collaborate on integration of chemical and electrical systems for seamless operation.
- Perform ad-hoc project duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in microelectronics, semiconductor, cleanroom, or fab construction.
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of ultra-pure piping (UHP), chemical & waste systems, slurry systems, bulk/specialty gases, UPW, drains, exhaust, and electrical utilities.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
