Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Engineer to support the delivery of a pharmaceutical warehouse project. The role requires strong multidisciplinary coordination skills, hands-on involvement in design, testing, commissioning, and qualification activities, and the ability to independently drive project deliverables within a GMP-regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities across multiple disciplines, including process, mechanical, electrical, cleanroom, and facility systems.
  • Serve as the key liaison between internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure technical alignment and timely project execution.
  • Review and support the development of warehouse system designs, including the design and implementation of sampling booths.
  • Manage vendor communications, technical clarifications, and follow-up actions, particularly with Chinese-speaking suppliers.
  • Plan and support Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing, commissioning, and qualification activities, including IQ/OQ documentation and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP requirements, internal quality standards, and relevant regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify project risks, resolve technical and coordination issues, and drive activities to meet schedule, quality, and compliance objectives.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including technical reports, meeting minutes, action trackers, and project progress logs.

Requirements

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least five years of experience supporting construction/building projects
  • Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary activities within a construction, engineering, or facility project environment.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom systems, warehouse operations, and material-handling processes.
  • Experience in sampling booth design, containment systems, or powder-handling processes is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and drive deliverables with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving, coordination, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese to support vendor coordination and technical discussions.
