Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily road maintenance and civil engineering works to ensure timely and effective project execution.
Manage site activities including road resurfacing and reinstatement, drainage works, road furniture, kerbs, footpaths, concrete works, and other associated road maintenance works.
Plan and monitor work schedules, manpower, materials, plant, equipment, and subcontractor resources to meet project schedules and operational requirements.
Review construction drawings, specifications, method statements, work instructions, and technical requirements prior to commencement of works.
Liaise and coordinate with LTA, consultants, subcontractors, utility agencies, and other relevant stakeholders on technical, site, and operational matters.
Coordinate traffic diversion and traffic control arrangements to ensure works are carried out safely and with minimum disruption to road users.
Conduct site inspections, identify defects and technical issues, and coordinate timely rectification and follow-up actions.
Monitor work progress, productivity, resource utilisation, and subcontractor performance to improve operational efficiency.
Ensure works are carried out in accordance with LTA requirements, approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), environmental, permit, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate inspections, testing, material submissions, and other quality control requirements.
Prepare and submit RFIs, inspection requests, method statements, risk assessments, permits, and other required technical documentation.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and maintain accurate records of completed works.
Attend site, progress, technical, and coordination meetings with LTA, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Support progress claims, variation orders, measurement of completed works, and other contractual documentation.
Supervise and guide site supervisors, subcontractors, and workers to ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.
Respond to urgent maintenance requirements, road defects, and operational issues, including night works and after-hours works when required.
Perform other project-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Job Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore is mandatory.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Singapore's civil engineering, road construction, or road maintenance industry.
Prior experience in LTA road construction or road maintenance projects is strongly preferred.
Good knowledge of road works, asphalt works, road reinstatement, drainage, kerbs, footpaths, concrete works, and traffic management.
Familiar with LTA specifications, procedures, permits, and relevant statutory authority requirements.
Experience in project planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and site supervision.
Good understanding of quality management systems, inspection procedures, and WSH requirements.
Able to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Strong coordination, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently, manage multiple site activities, and perform effectively under tight project schedules.
Proficient in Microsoft Office knowledge of Microsoft Project and AutoCAD
