Lead and manage fire protection system projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with specifications and contract terms.
Supervise on-site activities and attend project/site meetings to monitor progress, resolve issues, and safeguard Chubb's interests.
Coordinate closely with architects, consultants, and clients to ensure accurate technical compliance and timely feedback on project progress and variation claims.
Oversee the procurement and timely delivery of fire protection materials and equipment in line with site progress and project budget.
Prepare and manage essential project documentation including variation orders, extension of time (EOT) submissions, testing procedures, meeting minutes, purchase orders, O&M manuals, and final project close-out packages per ISO standards.
Ensure manpower deployment and system readiness for site inspections and authority clearances (e.g., SCDF, FSSD).
Work with drafting teams to support the creation of shop drawings, penetration details, and other technical submittals.
Coordinate with stakeholders and subcontractors to resolve on-site technical issues and implementation challenges.
Ensure all rectification and installation works comply with fire safety standards and contractual specifications.
Comply with all Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) regulations and company policies.
Be flexible to take on other related tasks or assignments within the Fire Safety or other departments when required.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in fire protection project management
Strong knowledge of fire protection systems (e.g., Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Hose Reel, Wet/Dry Risers)
Familiarity with SCDF submission processes and local fire safety codes
Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills
Proficient in project documentation, cost control, and ISO standards
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently
