Key Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Res ponsible for an assigned specific project involving all project function such as: Interface Coordinator, Package Responsible Engineer (small to medium package), Construction Coordinator, Commissioning Coordinator, Engineering Coordinator
  • Participate in one or more phases of the project development and implementation from engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning
  • Act as a mini project manager for assigned project activities including planning and scheduling of the tasks, effective communication and coordination with the involved departments and disciplines, to assure project completion and HSEQ requirements
  • Ensure interface in project execution internally and externally
  • Identify and fill gaps within the organization (scope / role / responsibility)
  • Ensure highest level of HSEQ performance is attained during all project phases

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
  • Long relevant experience may replace formal education
  • Ideally 3-10 years of relevant experience within the shipping and offshore industry
  • Previous experience within the FPSO industry is an advantage

  • Team player with a proactive attitude
  • Ability to work independently, applying a structured and systematic approach
  • Ability to deliver in a high pressure, fast-paced project environment
  • Ability to deliver high quality work on time
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary / multinational environment
  • Understanding of the various engineering disciplines and their interaction
  • Understanding of the different phases of the project, throughout Procurement, Construction and Commissioning
  • Knowledge of the design and function of marine / utility / safety systems
  • In depth knowledge of the relevant requirements of the classification societies and international rules and regulations
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
