Project Engineer (Audio Visual & IT)
The Role:
- Possesses strong proficiency in AV project planning and deployment. Support the end-to-end project management process, including planning, sourcing, testing, and delivering AV/VC system projects with precision and timeliness.
- Manage on-site activities, such asattending coordination meetings, conducting site studies, and collaboratingwith external stakeholders to ensure practical and accurate system solutions.
- Build and maintain strong workingrelationships with consultants, contractors, and project partners to ensurealignment throughout project execution.
- Demonstrate ownership andaccountability for assigned projects, ensuring the highest standards in systemimplementation, documentation, and client satisfaction.
- Assist to prepare comprehensiveas-built documentation and facilitate smooth handover to service and supportteams upon project completion.
- Assist to develop and review systemdesigns, drawings, and technical documentation to support project submissionsand ensure engineering accuracy.
- Oversee commissioning, user training,and system handovers, ensuring all deliverables meet specified requirements.
- Assist in administrative work such asdata entry and other paperwork such as user manuals and training materials toguide clients in system operation and maintenance.
- Perform remote/onsite diagnostics toidentify, troubleshoot, and resolve existing or potential faults within AV andVC integrated systems
Required Skillsand Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in AV/Electronics/ IT/ Electrical or relevant discipline
- Experience in the operation,engineering and/or installation of AV systems.
- Experience working with a variety ofUC solutions, including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, etc, will be an addedadvantage.
- Experience or knowledge of AV products(e.g. Crestron, Extron, Kramer, Polycom, Cisco Telepresence, Logitech, Biampand QSYS)
- Knowledge of AV & IT technologies(e.g. TCP/IP, Networking, Dante, AVB, SDVOE, H.264, H.323, MPEG, EDID, HDCP)
- Sound understanding of desktopapplication and unified communication technologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visio andAutoCAD.
