Project Engineer

Job Summary

Coordinate and manage construction projects to ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and schedules. Oversee site progress, resolve issues proactively, submit reports and claims, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate company projects and assigned tasks to ensure timely and efficient completion
• Verify that construction work complies with drawings, specifications, and management instructions
• Plan and coordinate site activities to anticipate and resolve potential problems, ensuring smooth progress and adherence to construction schedules
• Prepare and submit progress reports, claims, and certifications, and manage payment collections as instructed
• Complete or hand over all outstanding projects to management upon request or employment termination
• Ensure compliance with relevant Acts and applicable regulations on site
• Promote health and safety awareness and enforce compliance for all work conducted at the worksite
• Liaise with subcontractors health and safety supervisors to address safety matters related to subcontracted work
