Job Description

Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop, manage, and monitor project schedules for blasting and painting, TSA (Thermal Spray Application), ensuring alignment with overall shipbuilding or repair timelines.
Technical Supervision: Oversee surface preparation and coating applications on ship hulls, tanks, and structural steel.
Quality Assurance & Inspection: Validate coating systems, dry film thickness, and curing requirements inspect substrate conditions (humidity, cleanliness).
Resource Management: Coordinate manpower, allocate materials, and ensure equipment is delivered to job sites in a cost-effective manner.
Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) policies and regulatory standards.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare site progress reports, update work scopes, and maintain daily progress logs.
Subcontractor Coordination: Manage subcontractors and coordinate with clients, owners representatives, and painters.
Compliance and regulatory oversight, ensure compliance with maritime regulations, industry standards, and contractual obligations.
Strategies pre-award contract management, in ensuring the contract is favorable to the company and mitigates any contract related risk.
To ensure that the company's Health, Safety and Environment(HSE) policies are strictly adhered to.
Review ITP and procedures, comment with client & Vendor
Ensure the Blasting & Painting, Thermal Spray Application (TSA) activities carried out as per the specification.
Responsible for complete quality control for Blasting and Painting works, Thermal Spray Application (TSA) Procedures, Standards etc.
AMPP/NACE COATING INSPECTOR or IMM Coating Inspector certification is mandatory.
Candidates with minimum 5 years experience inShipyard Blasting, Painting & Thermal Spray Application (TSA) project are preferred.
