Job Summary
Lead the design, programming, integration, and commissioning of oven and automation control systems, ensuring compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards while managing project schedules and customer communications.
Responsibilities
- Identify technical specifications and requirements for oven systems, automation solutions, and related equipment to meet project goals
- Develop detailed schedules for manufacturing, installation, and testing phases to ensure timely project delivery
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design ovens, automation systems, and control systems that comply with client needs, regulatory standards, and efficiency targets
- Coordinate with control engineers to program and troubleshoot PLCs managing oven and automation systems for optimal performance
- Oversee integration of SCADA systems to enable real-time data monitoring and control of automation processes
- Maintain regular communication with customers to gather feedback, address concerns, and align project outcomes with client expectations
- Arrange and verify all necessary inspections and documentation to facilitate smooth project handover
- Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning of advanced control systems for automation, robotics, and test equipment
- Manage all automation control-related tasks, including PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems, to ensure seamless operation
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Control and Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in control and automation or related fields
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Knowledge of programming PLCs for industrial automation systems
- Experience designing, programming, and implementing PLC-based automation solutions
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management standards
- Strong organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills demonstrated through managing multiple discipline projects
- Effective written and verbal communication skills applied in technical and customer interactions
