Project Director / IT Project Leader

Job Summary

We are seeking a Project Director / IT Project Leader to lead enterprise-scale technology projects and PMO initiatives. This role focuses on driving program delivery, implementing governance frameworks, and enhancing execution efficiency for mission-critical IT systems. The position requires senior leadership experience managing multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead PMO and project governance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of large IT programs, including product, engineering, and infrastructure initiatives.

• Implement processes and tools (e.g., Jira, workflow automation) to improve transparency, efficiency, and delivery predictability.

• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively mitigating challenges.

• Prepare and present status reports and executive dashboards to senior leadership.

• Lead and mentor project managers and cross-functional teams.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.

Required Experience & Skills

• 10+ years in technology program/project management or PMO leadership.

• Proven experience in leading large-scale IT projects across multiple teams or business units.

• Expertise in project governance, portfolio management, and cross-functional coordination.

• Hands-on experience with process and workflow automation frameworks.

• Strong stakeholder management, executive reporting, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with infrastructure architecture (mainframe, storage, disaster recovery) is advantageous.
