We are looking for a Project Director with strong international hospitality & residential project experience to join our Singapore office. Our office is located conveniently in CBD area and easily accessible with any public transportation. You would be working in a multicultural office environment full of passionate designers.
Job Summary:
As a Project Director, you will lead and inspire a talented design team together with a Partner of HBA, driving the creative vision from the initial concept through to execution. Your leadership will ensure that all design solutionsalign with client expectations and our commitment to excellence in luxury interiors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire and mentor the design team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation while guiding thecreative process.
- Develop and present sophisticated design concepts that reflect a deep understanding of luxury hospitality and align with project objectives.
- Utilize expert space planning skills to create functional, aesthetically pleasing environments that enhance guestexperience.
- Supervise project timelines and milestones, ensuring that all phases are completed on schedule and to the highest standards.
- Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial goals are achieved while maintaining design integrity.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, effectively presenting design packages and projectupdates.
- Ensure all project deliverablesmeet the highest standards of quality and precision, adhering to local building codes and regulations.
- Identify potential project risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring smooth projectexecution.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and generate regular progress reports for stakeholder
- Manage team timesheets and monitor project hourly consumption to optimize resource allocation and profitability.
- Oversee all contractual obligations, including scope, timelines, budgets, and payment schedules
Below are the minimum qualifications that we expect from you:
Compulsory experience and qualification:
Years of Experience & Education:
- 10+ years of experience in BOTH hospitality and luxury residential interior design.
- Minimum 5 years of experience holding a Senior Designer or Design Lead position
- Bachelor's or master's degree in interior design or architecture. Demonstrable experience in leading an international interior design team
Project Experience & Client Facing Experience:
- Project experience in BOTH hospitality and luxury residential projects.
- Exceptional creativity and conceptualization skills. 5+ years of experience in client facing roles, including but not limited to project presentation, design pitch, day-to-day client liaison & management, project fee negotiation and discussion.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to meet tight project deadlines.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative spirit and enjoyment in working in team environment
Software & language requirements:
- Excellent skills in the following software: 3Ds Max Studio | Blender | V-Ray | Corona Renderer | SketchUp | AutoCad | Rhino | Adobe Suite
- It will be a plus if you have experience in using Unreal Engine
