The Project Director will be responsible to lead the delivery of large-scale construction projects. This role is responsible for overall project success-from planning through completion-ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Project Leadership & Delivery
Lead and oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through construction and completion.
Define project objectives, strategies, schedules, and delivery plans.
Monitor progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to ensure successful project outcomes.
Budget & Commercial Management
Develop, manage, and control project budgets and cash flow.
Track costs, manage contracts, variations, and claims with subcontractors and suppliers.
Optimize resources to achieve cost efficiency and profitability.
Stakeholder & Team Management
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, government agencies, and internal teams.
Lead, mentor, and support project managers, engineers, and site teams.
Ensure clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with all local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct regular site reviews and audits to uphold quality and safety performance.
Risk Management & Problem Solving
Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation and contingency plans.
Address project challenges and conflicts promptly to minimize delays and disruptions.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Drive improvements in construction methods and project management practices.
Promote best practices to enhance efficiency, productivity, and project outcomes.
Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future performance.
Regulatory & External Representation
Manage regulatory approvals and maintain strong relationships with authorities and industry partners.
Represent the company in high-level meetings, negotiations, and project discussions.
Minimum 10 years of construction industry experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management tools, and local building, safety, and quality regulations.
Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
