Job Description

We are looking for a Project Director who will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, and successful execution of power plant projects, alongside overseeing and managing the company's project and development initiatives.

A profound understanding of power generation and clean energies technologies, coupled with adept project management skills and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives, is essential for this position.

Responsibilities:

· Lead and oversee multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and innovation, while providing guidance and mentorship.

· Develop and execute project management strategies to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects.

· Perform feasibility studies and risk assessment for power plant project developments and/or modifications.

· Collaborate with Local Authorities and Regulators for consultations, submissions, and obtaining the necessary permits and approvals for the projects.

· Manage project budgets, schedule, and resources effectively and optimally.

· Oversee the demolitions, constructions, commissioning and start-up phases of the projects.

· Identify and evaluate potential risks associated with power plant projects and devise mitigation strategies.

· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

· Collaborate with Operations team to facilitate a smooth transition from construction to full-scale operations.

· Stay abreast with industry trends and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

· Possess an Engineering degree accredited by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.

· Minimum 10 years of active working experience in major industrial project management or equivalent, preferably in power plants or similar industries.

· Comprehensive understanding of engineering principles and commercial aspects relevant to the industry

· Demonstrates exceptional written and verbal communication skills, effectively engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Display strategic thinking and adept problem-solving capabilities.

· Showcase strong interpersonal abilities, effective team management skills, and leadership qualities essential for building a high-performing team.
