Project Development / Construction Lawyer (1-7 PQE)

A leading international law firm is seeking a talented Project Development / Front-end Construction lawyer to join its growing team. This is an opportunity to work alongside a highly regarded projects partner on some of the most significant energy, infrastructure and project development mandates across Asia Pacific and beyond. The team advises sponsors, developers, lenders, governments and contractors on complex projects spanning the full project lifecycle. The partner's practice includes major energy and infrastructure developments, with a particular focus on project development, EPC/construction, O&M, concession arrangements and joint ventures. The role offers direct client exposure, significant responsibility from day one and the opportunity to work closely with market-leading practitioners on cutting-edge transactions. The firm is extremely supportive of relocating the right candidate to the Singapore office.

Requirements:

• Excellent academic results
• UK/AUS/SG/NZ qualified, between 1-7 PQE
• Strong experience in project development/docs, gained from a leading international law firm. The partner is not keen on candidates who are experienced in Project Finance and looking to retool into Project Development.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to thrive in an international and collaborative environment
