Job Summary
Join Masstron as a Project Design Engineer to develop engineering designs and support project execution by collaborating with Sales to deliver practical, cost-effective technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales to analyze project requirements and propose effective technical solutions
- Prepare and develop accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) to support project quotations and execution
- Create and revise AutoCAD drawings aligned with project specifications to ensure design accuracy
- Evaluate and enhance designs for practicality, cost efficiency, and ease of assembly
- Develop basic work instructions and assembly documentation to support project implementation
- Engage in technical discussions to contribute innovative ideas for design improvements
- Troubleshoot design and project-related issues to maintain project progress and quality
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficient use of AutoCAD to produce and modify engineering drawings
- Ability to access restricted project sites as required for project execution
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively within a dynamic environment
- Detail-oriented approach with problem-solving skills to address design challenges
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills for continuous improvement
