Project Design Engineer

About the Role: Develop and review technical specifications and documentation to meet project requirements and industry standards. Review engineering designs to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations. Identify and promptly communicate potential technical issues to stakeholders, ensuring project coherence and quality. Oversee the design approval process and coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to resolve technical challenges. Maintain accurate records of drawing revisions, updates, and project documentation. Use CAD software to perform drafting tasks based on project specifications. Collaborate with consultants and internal project teams to refine and develop design concepts. Provide technical and design support to the engineering and project teams.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications: Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.

Required Skills:

• 5 to 8 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in the marine or offshore sector.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in drafting using AutoCAD, with relevant technical expertise.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes (e.g., ABS, DNV, API).
• Experience with engineering calculations is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
