Job Description

Overall Purpose of The Job

The Project Coordinator must have the ability to work under pressure and possess a wide range of other qualities in order to administer an entire project, providing leadership and direction to cross functional team members, delivering outcomes through demonstrable skills.

The Project Coordinator will have a demonstrable skill set managing and controlling all aspects of the project lifecycle.

This role will be part of the Global Digital team in V.Group.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

. Outlining a business's project objectives clearly.

. Taking part in project meetings and proposing adjustments.

. Setting and adhering to a budget that implements cost-saving measures.

. Consistently monitoring the costs, progress and quality of a project.

. Organising all project-related paperwork.

. Communicating with clients to continuously define project objectives.

. Negotiating with contractors and suppliers.

. Coordinating all project team members so workflow remains on schedule.

Essential

. Knowledge of computer project management software and hardware.

. Determination and persistence.

. The ability to trust their intuition with minimal supervision.

. Good verbal and written communication skills.

. Excellent leadership skills.

. The ability to work well in a group setting.

. Thorough attention to detail.

. Empathy and situational awareness.

. People management - this is a diverse role and as such will rely on a strong team around you. You will need to have the ability to focus on priority areas as required in addition to working with your peers.

. Personal attributes - The Project Co-Ordinator will be a proven high performer, highly commercial and in-tune with the business goals.

. Balances the needs of the V.Group.

. Holds proven influencing and communication skills with the ability to influence outside direct reporting lines.

. Highly developed interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships and navigate the V.Group organisation creating an environment where people can succeed.

. Ability to work at different levels of detail (from strategic to operational) and be able to concisely summarise complex issues.

. Excellent planning, prioritisation, problem solving and organisational skills.
