  • Responsible for interfacing with engineering & inspection teams to ensure on-time execution of scope as mentioned in work packs and site/project specific procedures (SSP).
  • Ensure supervisors & inspectors carry out the witness, inspection and surveillance checks in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans and project quality plan. Ensure Quality Control checks and tests are properly recorded and are in compliance with project specifications, AFC drawings, and method statements.
  • Surveillance during installation of all types of insulation & weather protection. Record non-conformances & report to the relevant authorities. Review & endorse inspection reports completed work packs/test packs, Inspection test records and punch list.
  • Closely liaise with Maintenance team & multiple contractors to understand opportunities and simultaneous operations issues.
  • Support Project Manager/Area Lead to coordinate and facilitate various project management events e.g. team engagements, workshops, team discussions etc.
  • Participate in Planning future work and incorporating site specific constraints, restrictions interfaces etc to facilitate effective execution of the work. Provide input and updates to the Program controls manager for incorporation into the planning scheduling and reporting
  • Daily manpower check and reporting shortfalls to contractor management and escalate to area lead if required.
  • Assess and responds to SIP ACS / Supervisor queries on the complicated situations e.g., congested areas, obstructions to pipes and equipment for mitigation, etc.
  • Identify in advance non-insulated, personal protection gauge lines so that mitigation can be planned.
  • Identify suspected asbestos lines and coordinate with contractor for asbestos removal.
  • Site walk and assessment of Estimate and Actual quantities for Scaffolding, Insulation and TSA.
  • Site walk with contractor representative and assessment of Estimate and Actual quantities for Scaffolding, Insulation and TSA.
  • Check actual and estimate quantities and sign off the correct actuals for Blasting, TSA, SIP works for correct invoicing.
  • Hard week planning with contractor supervisors/planner and site manager and follow up on day's work, escalate to Area Lead if there is a shortfall. Assess reason for short fall and address or escalate
  • Develop IWP package and work with Inspectors for release on time.
  • Facilitate Pre-Release of IWP's in case of urgent jobs, followed by formal release through document control.
  • Work with Maintenance, Project and TA team and assess SIMOPS and move gangs if priority has changed.
  • Work with Maintenance, Project and TA team to share scaffolding and insulation resources. Ensure either correct PO is issued, or efforts shared.
  • Send daily update to PU OPS, OMC, AGST, AGSI, PTL and Area lead on next day's planned activities.
  • Send daily update to contracting partners on maintenance activities planned so as to avoid SIMOPS.
  • Follow up with Inspection team on release of Surface Preparation Authorization form and De-lag authorization form to keep a healthy front availability for TSA.
  • Keep the Corrosion Under Insulation PU wise tracker updated on weekly basis to ensure all Equipment and Pipe tags status is correct.
  • Site walk with contractor HSSE and supervisors to confirm non-Insulated, bare, PP gauge lines and getting approval from PU OPS and Tech for mitigation.
  • Facilitate removal of gratings, pipe supports for blasting and TSA, coordinate with Piping and PU mechanical engineer to get approval for removal of pipe supports.
  • Site verification of blasting area and ensure compliance to banding process as defined in Corrosion Under Insulation execution procedure.
  • Raise TQ for technical queries viz. Insulation data, non-availability of space to do TSA etc.
  • Check Work Pack Completion Certificates for completion and correctness and sign off on the QC accepted work and ensure WPCC's are completed on time.
  • Insulation Quality Assurance at site and record Quality Data on daily basis.
  • Assessment of Insulation & cladding reuse prior to de-lagging and quantify with contractor QC/QS.
  • Ensure traceability of material used and record the same in EQCC. Ensure only approved material is used at site.
  • Participate in Weekly meeting with contractor and track Corrosion Under Insulation and PI progress. Follow up on PI tracker to ensure scaffolding and De-lag is completed on time
  • Weekly follow up on more than 6 months old scaffold standing at site and ensure dismantling is planned.
  • Site walk with Contractor scaffold supervisor to check if alternate access is feasible, & work with contractors and generate ideas on how to minimize scaffold size.
  • Act as a coordinator between SI and P contractor for planning scaffolding and insulation work scope. Define scaffold scope such that scaffolding modifications is minimized.
  • Follow up on submission of PE design scaffolds when required. Work closely with PE and Consultant for Wind Load Calculations and Scaffolding PE design approvals.
  • Record the downtime data for correct productivity measurement.
  • Verify downtime records of contractor for claims
  • Verify the Quantities for Variation Orders and ensure Variations are backed by Proper CVI's or document proof for approval.

Requirements

  • An equivalent of 7 to 10 years of experience in conatruction industry of which at least 5 years field experience.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Good people skills, able to work well with people across multi-cultural background. Good communicator, excellent organizing capability and can work independently.
  • Candidate with HSE as a core-value, who can lead by example and pro-actively influence project performance site-wide will be an asset.
  • Must be Energetic and Hardworking Fast learner and able to multi-task.
  • Complete the MOM mandatory training for Supervisor.
  • Extensive Brown field experience and demonstrated ability to coordinate and interact with the run and maintain organisation
