We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support our large scale aggregate relocation project. The role involves both operations management and facilities management, ensuring smooth execution of relocation works while maintaining the stockpile sites under our management.
Operations Scope
- Oversee the relocation of aggregates between multiple stockpile sites using tipper trucks.
- Manage loading operations with wheel loaders and ensure proper stockpiling at new sites.
- Plan and supervise deployment of trucks and heavy machinery (excavators, wheel loaders) for maximum productivity.
- Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure all operations comply with safety regulations.
- Monitor and manage site instruments (ambient air, noise, ground movement, water quality) and implement corrective actions when alerts arise.
- Coordinate with other project sites to optimize resources deployment.
- Write and submit reports as and when necessary
Facilities Management Scope
- Manage and maintain all aspects of stockpile sites under our responsibility.
- Oversee turfing (grass trimming), site cleanliness, site security, CCTV systems, site office facilities, drainage, weeding, and pest control.
- Supervise and coordinate teams of workers and external vendors to ensure proper upkeep and security of the sites.
- Write and submit reports as and when necessary
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project & Facilities Management or Project Management (preferred)
- Business degree holders with at least 3 years relevant experience may also be considered.
- Minimum 3 years experience in project management
- Valid Class 3 driver's license OR own vehicle for independent site management.
- Strong communication, leadership and time management skills to manage both operations and facilities aspects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to balance client satisfaction and operational efficiency independently.
