Project Coordinator (MEP)

Job Summary

We are looking for a technically proficient MEP Coordinator to oversee the integration of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing services. You will be responsible for ensuring that all MEP works are coordinated seamlessly with structural and architectural elements, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Supervision: Assist the Project Manager in the oversight and coordination of all MEP-related services on-site to ensure alignment with project goals.

• Technical Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors regarding technical MEP inquiries and problem-solving.

• Coordination & Monitoring: Closely manage MEP service workflows and collaborate with DSCs, EDCs, and NCSs to ensure all installations meet the master schedule.

• Subcontractor Management: Review and manage subcontractor submissions, including Method Statements, shop drawings, material samples, and progress reports.

• Drafting & Design: Prepare and manage Coordinated Services Drawings (CSD) and Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCP) to identify and resolve service clashes before installation.

• Quality & Safety: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the quality of MEP works meets specifications and that all Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations are strictly followed.

• Operational Efficiency: Maintain a cost and time-oriented approach to minimize wastage and avoid project delays.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related Building Services discipline.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in MEP coordination within construction industry.

• Soft Skills: Proven ability to manage subcontractors and communicate complex technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
