We provide Underground Utilities Infrastructure construction and maintenance, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance as well as asphalt pre-mix production and construction waste recycling.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to support the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager, Engineers, and key stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, budget, and quality requirements.

The role involves coordinating daily project activities, monitoring progress, preparing documentation, and facilitating communication between internal teams, clients, consultants, and authorities. This position is ideal for someone who is well-organized, adaptable, and able to perform in a fast-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager and Engineers in daily project planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution of works.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with timelines, specifications, and client requirements, and propose corrective actions when necessary.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, clients, consultants, and authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with approved designs, contract specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, progress reports, and monthly reports.
  • Coordinate and submit monthly project progress claims accurately and on time.
  • Assist in preparing project updates and management reports for stakeholders.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the by the immediate supervisor or Head of Department.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field recognized by the Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant local experience in road works.
  • Experience in SP Group cable projects, including claim submission requirements and procedures, is preferred.
  • Experience in underground utility or cable pipeline works is a strong advantage.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic project management tools.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Able to meet project performance expectations, including submission of work orders and project deliverables.

  • Work Schedule: 6-day work week
  • Location: Office at No. 3 Sungei Kadut Drive, Singapore 729556 (North Singapore)
