Job Description

Statement Of Purpose (Overall Purpose of Job)

To be the company representative and liaise with the Clients, Consultants, relevant authorities and occupiers to ensure the project is delivered within quality, time and cost requirements as well as to manage and co-ordinate the project effectively.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

(A) Specific :

  • Assist to manage the day-to-day site operations.
  • Plan the works programme for the project.
  • Monitor and control the progress of the work.
  • Prepare, review and enforce the risk assessment plan with the assistance of the WSH Coordinator.
  • Control the worksite effectively in achieving good safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Liaise and co-ordinate with Clients, Consultants and Vendors on all Project matters.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationship and meet Client's needs.
  • Ensure that projects comply with regulations, which includes revising the project design as necessary to achieve client satisfaction, high quality architectural works and timely handover of projects.
  • Execute project works based on the drawing / specification.
  • Project supervision as well as supervise a team of workers and sub-contractors to ensure safety and compliance of work on site.
  • Plan, implement and track the work progress periodically, address and follow-up any issues to avoid delays.
  • Monitoring and managing the costs related including variation works if any to ensure they stay within the allocated budget.
  • Ensure monthly claims are accurate and submitted on time without delays.

(B) General :

  • Coordinate and work with other departments and vendors.
  • Engage in Project work and ensure successful completion as well as hand over of Projects to the Clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.

(C) Safety:

  • Follow the safety procedures, rules and regulations and eliminate or reduce hazard at the work place.

Job Requirements

(A) Education, Qualifications & Special Training :

  • Certificate / Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering, Building / Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or any other discipline related to building construction.
  • Job holder without the above qualification but with relevant experience would be considered.

(B) Knowledge & Skills :

  • Strong in Persuasion, Service oriented, Client relationship and People Management.
  • Good working attitude, self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Able to understand construction and shop drawing.
  • PC literate and knowledge in MS Office.
  • Excellent time management, organization and coordination skills.
  • Familiar with both architectural and structural works.
  • Preferably with Singapore Class 3 driving license.

(C) Experience :

  • Preferably with minimum 2 years relevant working experiences in related field.
