Job Summary
Support the Project or Construction Manager by overseeing site activities, monitoring progress and compliance, coordinating resources, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project or Construction Manager in resolving job site issues to maintain smooth operations
- Participate in meetings and follow up on action items to address raised concerns effectively
- Analyze project contract requirements and identify any deviations to ensure compliance
- Monitor construction schedules and progress to keep projects on track
- Detect defects, quality issues, and irregularities to uphold construction standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of rectification works for quality assurance
- Ensure all work complies with workplace safety and health regulations to promote a safe environment
- Plan and organize daily and weekly manpower and resource allocation to optimize site productivity
- Coordinate with site supervisors, workers, vendors, and subcontractors to facilitate collaboration
- Attend site kick-off, weekly progress, and ad-hoc meetings to support project communication
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly manpower and progress reports to track site performance
- Supervise daily site activities to ensure adherence to project plans and standards
