The Project Co-Ordinator cum Drafter supports project execution by coordinating project activities, preparing technical drawings, and ensuring documentation accuracy. This role works closely with Project Managers, engineers, vendors, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in coordinating project schedules, manpower, and deliverables
- Prepare and track project documentation including submissions, RFIs, shop drawings, and as-built records
- Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors on project matters
- Monitor project progress and follow up on outstanding actions
- Support procurement processes including material tracking and delivery coordination
Drafting & Technical Support
- Prepare and revise AutoCAD drawings such as:
- Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
- Panel layouts
- Wiring and termination drawings
- As-built drawings
- Update drawings based on site conditions and engineer's instructions
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and standards
- Maintain proper version control for all drawings
Documentation & Administration
- Maintain organized project files and drawing registers
- Assist with method statements, test reports, and commissioning documents
Requirement
- Polytechnics Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
- At least 4-5 years of relevant working experience
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Maintain a positive attitude and focus on client satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Drafting in Electrical Industry
- Experience using BIM software (e.g., Revit) or other relevant Modelling tools will be added value
