We are seeking an organized and proactive Project Coordinator (CSA) to manage and streamline our Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) project workflows on-site. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will serve as a crucial bridge between the engineering team, sub-contractors, procurement, and the client. You will ensure that project documentation, material submissions, and site coordination run smoothly to meet tight project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Project Documentation & Tracking: Maintain, update, and track all project schedules, site diaries, and progress reports. Ensure all CSA engineering drawings and documents are organized and up to date.
Material Submissions & Procurement: Coordinate with the procurement team and vendors to prepare and follow up on Material Submission requests (MAS) for client approval. Track material delivery schedules to ensure zero downtime on site.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise closely with sub-contractors, quantity surveyors, and other engineering disciplines (MEP/BIM) to ensure seamless workflow integration.
Client & Authority Liaison: Assist the Project Manager in preparing for weekly progress meetings with project team, documenting minutes of meetings (MoM), and following up on action items.
Permit & Access Coordination: Handle administrative logistics for the site team, including coordinating site access passes, safety induction scheduling, and assisting with Permit-to-Work (PTW) documentation.
Quality & Defect Management: Coordinate site inspections with consultants/clients, log punch lists (defect lists), and track sub-contractor rectification progress.
Qualifications & Certifications
Education: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building/Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Certifications: Possession of a valid Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course (BCSS) or Supervise Construction Work for WSH certificate is preferred.
Experience & Skills
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in project coordination or site administration within the construction sector. Prior experience coordinating projects within the site or semiconductor fabs is highly preferred.
Good technical understanding of CSA drawings, specifications, and construction sequences.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) knowledge of MS Project or AutoCAD is a plus.
Soft Skills: Exceptionally organized, strong communication skills (both written and spoken), a collaborative team-player mindset, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
