Assist the Coordination Manager in overseeing and coordinating civil and structural activities across various projects to ensure compliance with specifications and project timelines
Review and understand civil and structural project drawings, specifications, and design requirements, ensuring adherence to relevant codes and standards
Facilitate communication between civil, structural, and architectural teams, as well as contractors and consultants, to ensure seamless project execution
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to civil and structural works, including reports, drawings, and meeting minutes
Coordinate the preparation and submission of civil and structural design documents, ensuring timely delivery to clients and regulatory bodies
Conduct regular site inspections to verify the quality of civil and structural work, compliance with safety regulations, and adherence to project specifications
Assist in resolving design-related issues and conflicts that may arise during project execution, escalating concerns to the Coordination Manager as necessary
Support the Coordination Manager in organising and participating in project meetings, providing updates on civil and structural progress and challenges
Monitor the progress of civil and structural activities, identifying potential delays or risks, and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies
Collaborate with architectural, mechanical, and electrical teams to ensure proper integration of civil and structural designs and specifications
Assist in the preparation of project budgets and resource allocations related to civil and structural activities
Maintain strong relationships with external consultants, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with approvals and permits
Promote best practices in civil and structural coordination and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team
Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with the organisation's policies, procedures, and safety standards
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Coordination Manager to support overall project objectives
Job Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil and structural construction supervision for projects of similar scale, complexity, and nature
Experience in MRT, LTA, rail, or major infrastructure projects will be an added advantage
Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
Strong coordination, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary project team
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment
Willing to be based at the site office
Candidates who are available to commence work immediately or within a short notice period will have an added advantage
