Project Control Manager (P6 Planner)

Are you a seasoned Planning professional with strong scheduling expertise in facilities or construction environments We are seeking an experienced Project Control Manager (P6) to support a large-scale, high-profile integrated facilities environment in Singapore.
This role offers the opportunity to lead and drive project scheduling excellence across maintenance, refurbishment, and construction works within a dynamic operational setting.
About the Role
As the Project Control Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing project schedules across facilities maintenance, renovations, and construction projects. You will ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget while minimizing operational disruptions.
You will work closely with project managers, contractors, engineers, and internal stakeholders to maintain accurate timelines, optimize resource utilization, and proactively mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule Development & Management
. Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 (or equivalent).
. Identify milestones, dependencies, and critical paths for facility-related projects.
. Coordinate schedules across multiple teams, contractors, and vendors.
. Standardize project scheduling and reporting processes.
. Guide and support contractors in meeting project control requirements, including schedule, cost, and deliverables.
Progress Monitoring & Performance Control
. Track and update schedules to reflect real-time progress.
. Conduct critical path analysis to ensure timely project delivery.
. Monitor schedule performance and provide regular reports to leadership.
. Optimize resource allocation and prevent overallocation.
. Identify potential delays and propose corrective actions.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, maintenance teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on timelines.
. Facilitate coordination meetings to resolve scheduling conflicts.
. Serve as the main point of contact for schedule-related matters.
Risk Management & Mitigation
. Identify scheduling risks such as resource shortages or procurement delays.
. Develop contingency plans to minimize project disruptions.
Reporting & Documentation
. Prepare Gantt charts, dashboards, and schedule reports for stakeholders.
. Maintain comprehensive documentation of schedules, changes, and project timelines.
Requirements
. Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline.
. Valid Primavera P6 license with demonstrated proficiency.
. Minimum 5-8 years of relevant scheduling experience in facilities management, construction, or maintenance projects.
. Proven experience managing multi-phase construction or refurbishment schedules.
. Strong knowledge of critical path analysis, resource leveling, and workload balancing.
. Familiarity with facilities operations and preventive maintenance programs.
. Experience coordinating shutdowns and complex project timelines.
Technical Skills
. Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling tools.
. Strong understanding of budgeting, procurement timelines, and project cost control.
. Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
