Project Contracts Manager (A1 main contractor, MRT Project)

Join a leading A1 civil engineering contractor with a strong track record in delivering large-scale infrastructure and MRT projects across Singapore. As part of a flagship rail project in the western region, we are seeking an experienced Project Contracts Manager to lead the commercial and contractual functions of this high-value development.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Director and Senior Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing all contractual and commercial aspects of a major MRT infrastructure project valued close to SGD 500 million. You will play a key role in protecting the company's commercial interests, managing risks, and driving successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and advise on contractual matters, rights, and obligations throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate variation orders, claims, and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions
• Oversee project cost control, financial performance, and cash flow management
• Manage subcontract administration, including procurement, claims, and final accounts
• Identify contractual risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Handle dispute resolution processes including negotiation and mediation
• Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and internal stakeholders on commercial matters
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting for all contractual and claim-related activities

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
• Minimum 10-15 years experience in contract/commercial management for infrastructure or civil projects
• Proven experience in large-scale MRT / rail projects in Singapore preferred
• Strong working knowledge of FIDIC and Singapore public sector contracts
• Excellent track record in claims management and dispute resolution
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
