Job Responsibilities:
- Execute engineering activities for Power Generation projects from project award through installation, testing and Integrated Systems Testing
- Prepare engineering drawings, technical documentation and submissions according to customer and project requirements.
- Ensure Balance of Plant engineering scope meets contractual and technical requirements.
- Review suppliers engineering scope, drawings and technical specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate closely with customers, Application Engineers, project teams and suppliers throughout project execution.
- Attend customer and technical meetings, track engineering action items and ensure timely closure.
- Follow up with suppliers on technical drawings, datasheets, quotations and engineering deliverables.
- Provide engineering support during equipment installation and site activities.
- Support regional site supervision, troubleshooting, testing and commissioning of diesel generator systems.
- Provide technical support during customer acceptance and commissioning activities.
- Review and manage technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Update and amend engineering drawings using AutoCAD where required.
- Travel across the APAC region to support project installation, commissioning and execution activities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the diesel/gas engine, genset or Power Generation industry.
- Hands-on experience with diesel generator systems, including site installation, supervision and commissioning.
- Experience managing regional engineering projects will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of electrical power systems and genset control systems.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with customers, suppliers and project teams.
