Job Description

Job title - Project and Maintenance Lead (Animal Nutrition)

Location - Woodlands, Singapore

  • Lead continuous improvement of site infrastructure, facilities, utilities, and production equipment to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
  • Provide reliable maintenance support across mechanical, electrical, utilities, and facility systems to ensure plant availability and operational continuity.
  • Lead inspection, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and improvement activities for machinery, tools, equipment, utilities, and facilities.
  • Ensure maintenance and project activities comply with site SHE requirements, applicable regulations, engineering standards, Management of Change, and operational requirements.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, utility, facility, mechanical, and electrical failures, and coordinate recovery actions to minimize downtime and production impact.
  • Manage maintenance-related projects, equipment modifications, installations, contractor works, commissioning support, and handover documentation to ensure safe and sustainable implementation.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and resolve technical issues and failures related to equipment and facilities. Develop, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance (PM) plans for production equipment, utilities, and factory facilities.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment failures, optimize preventive maintenance programs, and drive continuous improvement to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Drive continuous improvement of maintenance strategies through the application of RCA and FMEA tools to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Understand and apply basic MSA and Process Safety Analysis methodologies, ensuring all machinery, tools, equipment, and facilities comply with safety, regulatory, and operational requirements. Ensure machinery and equipment breakdowns are monitored and controlled at a low level, and that all machinery operates in safe and good working condition.
  • Responsible for main spare parts availability with cost efficiency. Provide, promote, and work closely with the SHE Officer and Production Supervisor on SHE training and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Advise and provide training to production employees on the safe operation of equipment and machinery. Actively participate in the investigation of production deviations, equipment failures, and SHE incidents, ensuring effective root cause identification and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Participate in the selection ofequipment-related service contractors and manage contractor safety, quality, schedule, and performance evaluation during project execution. Coordinate with external contractors for breakdown recovery when external support is required, including issuing LSR documents such as Work Permit, Work at Height, Hot Work, Critical Equipment Override, and other relevant permits.
  • Develop and implement equipment and facility modification projects and manage small-scale engineering projects from planning through execution. Liaise with external contractors for new machinery installations or machinery upgrades to ensure compliance with SHE requirements and Management of Change processes.
  • Advise on and support risk assessments (RA), and actively participate as a member of the RA team. Audit compliance with SHE requirements, best practices, and relevant laws and regulations, and participate in regular inspections.
  • Manage equipment documentation and regularly update technical records, manuals, drawings, service records, calibration records, and other related documents in the maintenance database.
  • Report machinery or facility downtime/issues related to SHE management to Unit Management.

You Bring:

  • Engineering Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Facilities, or related Engineering discipline, work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience at relevant industrial.
  • Team player with good communication, problem solving & dedicated person.
