The Job
The role is responsible for reviewing, consolidating, validating, and reconciling records across procurement and related support functions, and for driving timely closure of identified data, documentation, and control gaps. The role will also support the strengthening of governance standards, reporting discipline, and record management practices across the assigned scope.
The scope of work is expected to cover vendor- and contract-related records, financial and operational documentation, and support governance artefacts, with the objective of improving record completeness, transparency, control effectiveness, and operational discipline.
Procurement
- Support the maintenance, validation, and ongoing enhancement of central records relating to vendor, contract, and service arrangements to ensure information is accurate, current, and properly maintained.
- Review and organise contractual and supporting documentation to improve traceability, consistency, and overall record quality.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to obtain, validate, and update information required to support procurement and related operational processes.
Financials
- Support the review and reconciliation of financial and operational records associated with external arrangements to improve accuracy, completeness, and management visibility.
- Assist in identifying discrepancies, incomplete records, and outstanding remediation items affecting reporting quality or process integrity.
- Prepare trackers and management information to support oversight of open items, key milestones, and progress of remediation activities.
Risk and Control
- Support activities relating to governance, documentation, and control requirements by organising, tracking, and following up on required records, approvals, and supporting artefacts.
- Contribute to data cleansing, standardisation, and process improvement efforts across procurement, financial, and governance-related records in accordance with internal policies and control expectations.
- Escalate documentation, reconciliation, and control issues in a timely manner and work with relevant stakeholders to support remediation and sustainable control outcomes.
The Talent
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Approximately 5-8 years of relevant experience in procurement operations, governance, vendor management, contract management, finance operations, business management, or related functions within financial services
- Strong experience in documentation review, reconciliation, data validation, and stakeholder coordination.
- Familiarity with governance, control, and documentation standards within a regulated environment will be advantageous.
- Strong Excel, analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong governance and control orientation.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound professional judgement.
- Effective cross-functional stakeholder management and communication.
- High attention to detail, execution discipline, and commitment to documentation quality
