Project Accountant

We are supporting a well-established organisation in Singapore in its search for a Project Accountant.

This is a hands-on finance role for someone who is comfortable working through an active ERP implementation and enjoys being close to systems, data, finance users and process improvement.

The organisation is working through an ERP implementation, and the role will support Finance across implementation-related activities, AP/AR workflow readiness, finance data readiness, testing and process standardisation. The successful candidate will support and follow through on ERP-related finance workstreams from a finance operations perspective.

Key areas of focus include:

• Supporting ERP implementation activities from a finance perspective
• Working closely with Finance, IT, vendors and internal users
• Supporting AP and AR teams through process and system changes
• Supporting finance data management, validation and reconciliation as part of the ERP implementation
• Helping with UAT, workflow testing, issue tracking and go-live readiness
• Contributing to process standardisation, automation and smoother finance operations

We are looking for someone with:

• Around 5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
• Good understanding of finance workflows, especially AP, AR and ideally GL
• Prior involvement in ERP implementation, system migration, UAT, finance data management or go-live support
• Strong Excel, reconciliation and data management skills
• Ability to work hands-on across finance operations and system/process change
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline preferred
• CPA / ACCA or equivalent would be advantageous
• Diploma holders with strong hands-on experience may also be considered

This may suit an Accountant, Senior Finance Executive, Finance Systems Executive or Project Accountant who enjoys working at the intersection of finance operations, ERP implementation and process improvement.
