We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented ProjectAccountant to play a key role in managing project performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and contributing to high-value projects in a dynamic, project-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Project Managers to track project performance and key operational metrics.
- Prepare clear, insightful monthly and quarterly financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Maintain and forecast project costs, budgets, and variances to keep projects on track.
- Provide financial insights on Work in Progress (WIP), collections, risks, opportunities, and cash flow.
- Review cost status and invoices alongside project teams.
- Support external audits by coordinating with auditors during statutory and interim reviews.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance project management and reporting.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in project-based industries (construction, engineering, infrastructure) preferred.
- Hands-on exposure with construction contract accounting or managing high-value projects/WIP is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
- Able to collaborate across teams.
