Programmer / Analyst

Job Responsibilities

• Interested individual will be driving Skyworks automation transformation activities, quality improvement and support our mission to be best in class filter manufacturer.
• He / She will be responsible for implementing automation systems comprises of in-house developed and off-the shelf product to the production floor.
• He/she will be working closely with production, equipment engineering, IT to troubleshoot and resolve production systems issues raised.
• Responsible for assigned CIM system's evaluation, test, and implementation. Define sustenance and scaling up to support manufacturing operations.
• Actively engage with production and engineering teams to implement CIM systems and achieve implementation target/KPI.
• Attend systems issues, perform troubleshooting, and provide corrective actions and preventive solutions.
• Identify system enhancement opportunities, propose improvement plan, and implement to the production environment.
• Provide briefing, guidance, and training to engineering team to assist them in using CIM systems and push for adoption/usage of systems in their day-to-day work.
• Create and document best practice on using automations systems for end user.
• Manage assets that fall under automation team responsibility.
• Actively demonstrate a passion for continuous learning.
• Any Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Experience with SECS/GEM based Equipment Automation
• Experience with EI platform for equipment automation, e.g Eyelit, Systema
• Experience in Business Intelligence tools, Power BI and Tableau
• Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and experience in using SQL Server and Oracle
• Experience with any of common programming language (Java, Python, C#)
• Fast learner for new systems with minimum supervision
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Strong and systemic problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good Team Player and able to work independently
• Solid understanding of PROMIS terminology and data structure
• Experience in implementing Message Broker and integrating external sensor to systems
• PLC programming with Mitsubishi GxWorks2, Omron
• Experience with R2R preferably ONTO
• Experience in Inficon Fabguard
