Programme Manager (Philanthropy)

• 1 Year Contract (convertible / extendable)

Key Responsibilities

1. Community Management, and Funders Engagement

. Lead day-to-day management, and build trusted relationships with JETC members, including funders and programme partners

. Convene meetings across governance structures (e.g., Steering Committee, Working Committee), setting agendas and overseeing, including scheduling, preparatory materials, minutes, and subsequent follow-ups

. Drive actions and ensure timely follow-through across stakeholders

. Own clear and consistent communication across the community with clear visibility on community activities

2. Project Pipeline and Tracking

. Work with the program office to co-manage the JETC programmes pipeline, including proposals, key questions, supporting diligence and funding discussions

. Oversee progress across initiatives, ensuring visibility on status, risks, and next steps

. Work with program office and JETC partners to conduct preliminary assessments, strengthen proposals and move them towards funding readiness

. Ensure that materials are well-organised and up to date for internal and external discussions

3. Funder Alignment and Mobilisation

. Lead the development and coordination of processes that facilitate strategic alignment, co-funding opportunities, and collective action across JETC members, balancing diverse priorities and interest

. Translate member interest into actionable next steps, including developing briefing materials, facilitating decision-making processes, and tracking funding opportunities and commitments.

. Engage with internal and external partners on aspects of funding structures, governance, and disbursement processes

. Contribute to the development and maintenance of a robust pipeline of investable opportunities by assessing strategic fit, funder appetite, and implementation readiness

. Actively participate and create connections with other communities under PAA, to enhance crosscutting funder support opportunities.

4. Strategic Support

. Lead the refinement and execution of JETC's strategy and priority areas, engaging JETC members to gather diverse perspectives and build alignment

. Identify gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities, and proactively flag areas requiring attention

. Prepare high-quality briefings, summaries, and updates to support decision-making and external engagement

5. Convenings and Events

. Build JETC as a credible platform for collaboration and impact in the region Lead the design and delivery of regular JETC briefing, working meetings, and key JETC external convenings, including sessions at the Philanthropy Asia Summit (PAS)

. Work with internal teams and partners to shape structured, action-oriented discussions

. Capture outcomes and ensure follow-through after convenings

Requirements:

. At least 6-9 years of experience in sustainability, international development, philanthropy, consulting, or related fields

. Experience in energy transition, climate, or related sectors is desirable

. Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments across funders, NGOs, International organizations or the public sector is an advantage

. Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
