[What the role is]
This is a 2-year contract position as a Programme Manager in the Centre for Southeast Asia.
As a manager, your will be responsible to manage, develop and facilitate SEA programmes for students and staff, as well as to build a community of SEA ambassadors comprising students, alumni and industry experts.
[What you will be working on]
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Student programmes
- Design, develop and deliver the SAIL programme and other relevant Southeast Asia programmes.
- Provide advice and mentorship to students on the Passion+PLP and the SAIL Programme.
- Develop and implement processes to select students for the programmes.
- Develop and implement events and student engagement initiatives to promote awareness and appreciation of SEA knowledge.
- Evaluate programme effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
Staff Programmes
- Assist the DD in managing and developing the staff programmes.
- Develop and implement staff engagement initiatives to promote the programmes.
- Provide advice to staff on the programmes.
- Monitor and report on staff outcomes and impact of programmes.
Ambassador Community Development
- Establish and manage a network of students, alumni and industry professionals to be ambassadors representing our organization in Southeast Asia.
- Recruit, train, and support ambassadors to promote the knowledge and appreciation of Southeast Asia.
- Develop ambassador engagement strategies, including events, social media campaigns, and content creation.
- Foster collaborations between ambassadors, staff, and students.
Partnership Development
- Foster partnerships with companies, regional universities and educational institutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regional stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and relevant analyses.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
[What we are looking for]
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the development and facilitation of student programmes.
- Experience in planning and organising events preferred.
- Have strong communication and inter-personal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders (e.g. companies, staff, students, parents and the public).
- Passionate to groom students into SEA champions.
- Comfortable with technology adoption and day-to-day administrative work.
- Willing to travel overseas at least 4 times a year.
- Matured, independent and is a team builder.
