Programme Executive (FFLC)

Families For Life@Community equips parents with necessary skills, evidence-based knowledge, and follow-on support to transform them as confident and competent parents resulting in improved parent-child relationships, positive family dynamics, and a conducive environment for raising successful responsible, confident, and competent children.

At Lakeside Family Service Centre, we believe in the power of meaningful work and the impact it can have on individuals and communities. Our Mission:

To fulfil our Christian responsibility to the society by caring for the community.

Responsibilities:

• Work with schools and the community to conduct outreach to increase awareness of family related support and participation in Family Life Education programmes.
• Working with schools to identify parents needs and recommend appropriate parenting programmes
• Assist the Family Life Trainer in coordinating programme, recruiting parents, arranging venues, and managing logistics.
• Host webinars on Zoom platform

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to engage and build rapport with stakeholders such as schools, parents, and community partners.
• Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work independently.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented, especially in documentation and reporting.
• Passionate about supporting families, with a heart for empowering parents and nurturing children.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with parents and children will be advantageous, preferably in education, social work, or community engagement
• Willing to work on weekday evenings and/or weekends when required.
