Job Description

Overview

Connexions is Singapore's first outcome-based centre supporting low-ability autistic young adults through structured vocational, life-skills, and community integration programmes. We are expanding our impact through innovative social enterprises, caregiver engagement, community partnerships, and purpose-driven communications.

We are seeking a dynamic and people-centred who can strengthen our ecosystem, tell our stories authentically, and build meaningful relationships with stakeholders, while also being deeply involved in supporting our Learners development and caregiver communication.

Connexions is working towards Charity status.

Administration & Operations

  • Report to the centre director on matters relating to programme administration, coordination, and delivery of services supporting individuals with special needs aged 18 and above.
  • Support the development and implementation of operational policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure effective programme management.
  • Assist in monitoring programme performance and achieving key performance indicators related to learner participation, developmental outcomes, and programme impact.
  • Prepare progress updates and reports for management.
  • Maintain proper documentation, programme records, and administrative coordination.
  • Support data collection, monitoring, and analysis for programme planning, evaluation, and reporting purposes.

Programme Delivery, Development & Sustainability

  • Support the planning and delivery of structured programmes for young adults with special needs, including vocational training, life-skills development, and community participation.
  • Assist with learner enrolment, onboarding, and programme coordination.
  • Work collaboratively with trainers, volunteers, and partners to ensure effective programme delivery.
  • Assist in promoting programmes, events, and learner activities through social media and digital platforms to increase community awareness and engagement.
  • Identify the needs of learners and caregivers and contribute to programme improvement.
  • Support the planning of learner and caregiver activities such as workshops, training sessions, community outings, and events.
  • Monitor learner participation and progress through observation and documentation.
  • Assist with programme evaluations and maintain learner progress records.
  • Collate programme data and statistics for reporting and outcome tracking.
  • Support training for learners and caregivers in community living, social skills, wellbeing, and vocational readiness.

Partnerships & Community Engagement

  • Engage and collaborate with referral agencies, community organisations, and partners to support programme delivery and community inclusion.
  • Identify and develop partnerships that provide real-life work exposure and vocational opportunities for learners.
  • Support outreach initiatives and community events to raise awareness about Connexions services and promote understanding of special needs.
  • Participate in and support engagement with key stakeholders, funding bodies, and partners to strengthen networks.
  • Coordinate with partners to organise inclusive activities that promote social participation for individuals with special needs.

Other Duties

  • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Centre Manager, or Director in support of programme operations and organisational initiatives.

Skills & Competencies

  • Compassionate and patient, with a strong commitment to supporting youth and adults with autism.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills when engaging learners, caregivers, and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Able to think proactively and solve problems to support programme delivery and centre operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum A-Level / Diploma / Degree from a recognised institution.
  • Experience in Special Education, Nursing, Counselling, Social Services, or community work with individuals with autism or special needs will be an advantage.
  • Experience in programme coordination, operations, or community programmes is preferred.
