The Programme Coordinator supports the Voices for Hope (VFH) programme's objective in empowering persons living with dementia (PLWDs) and care partners (CPs) towards self-advocacy journey and supports VFH Alumni Network Group in their activities for advocacy and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and logistical support to ensure smooth running of VFH programme, alumni-related activities and VFH Centre.
- Assist in planning, coordinating and facilitating all VFH-related events/activities.
- Coordinate and manage tasks related to the programme, such as attendance records, maintaining progress reports, gathering feedback and organising activities associated with each module/each session.
- Coordinate and support alumni group in self-advocacy and peer support group activities.
- Maintain data, documentations and records of clients, activities and attendance, in accordance with prevailing PDPA and security guidelines for reporting purposes.
- Assist in sourcing and procurement of items to support activities and operational needs.
- Handle case referrals and enquiries/collaboration requests from external organisations/partners.
- Any other duties as and when assigned.
Requirements
- Possess at least Diploma in Social Service or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, such as Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Strong event organization/management, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong administrative and operational skills.
- Meticulous, detailed in work and able to handle deadlines and stress.
- Preferably 2-3 years of experience in supporting and facilitating programmes.
- Patient and passionate about dementia care.
- Flexibility to work occasional Saturday mornings is preferred.
