Key responsibilities
- Liaise with hotel, food caterers, and transportation vendors to secure accommodations, meal sessions, and transport for programme participants.
- Liaise internally with trainers and school administrators to ensure the schedule for the program is up to date.
- Act as the first point of contact for vendors, invited guest speakers, and participants, and attend to their inquiries and requests before and during the program.
- Manage and be responsible for the week-long day-to-day running of the hackathon segment in the program.
Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent in the humanities or social sciences discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of full-time event/ project management experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications.
- Experience in the design of marketing materials.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students, academics, and industry partners from diverse SEAcultural backgrounds.
- Meticulous attention to detail, especially in managing schedules, bookings, and participants information.
- Any other tasks related to event management and coordination that may be assigned by the Reporting Officer.
Contract Duration: Immediate to 31 Dec 2026
Working Arrangement:
Monday to Friday: Office hours (TBC, subject to changes)
Location: Nanyang Ave
Salary: $2500 to $3000 (depending on experience)
