MAIN RESPONSBILITIES
- Carry out meaningful activity engagement prescribed by registered therapist.
- Execute activities for the residents including outings in the community, art and music programs in the facility and gazette and special events.
- Setting up the rooms / activity area for activities and events.
- Prepare relevant equipment for activities.
- Transport scheduled residents to the gym / activity area (cooking session, arts & craft, combined mahjong, etc.)
- Conduct general body conditioning exercise.
- Record the residents seen at UMC Rehabilitation Attendance.
- Maintain inventory of activity equipment.
- Assist nursing team to tidy up the communal area if needed
- Assist residents in their nutritional needs during the afternoon tea breaks
- Disinfect activity equipment, clean & dry all the mops and ensure that hand soap bottle is filled up
- Adhere Infection Control guidelines and protocol at all times.
- Participate/support Company's events as and when required.
- Perform administrative duties related to department work and undertake any other responsibilities as directed by the Allied Health Manager
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT
- GCE N or O Levels.
- NITEC inCommunity Care & Social Services.
- Certificate on Healthcare Support (Therapy Support).
EXPERIENCES
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in healthcare or ILTC setting
