Responsibilities
- Facilitate volunteer recruitment, screening, training, and engagement. Engage and motivate seniors to participate in programmes and activities. Assist in home visits and community screenings to promote participation. Support outreach initiatives aimed at expanding membership. Maintain positive relationships with community partners and service providers. Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of wellness and outreach programmes. Ensure cleanliness and safety of the centre, including undertaking basic cleaning tasks as required. Cover programmes in the absence of trainers and support festive events or outings. Participate in meetings and carry out operational duties as assigned. Manage records related to attendance, volunteer registry, and home visits. Handle inquiries, registration, fee collection, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping. Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external submission. Provide support in purchasing, stock monitoring, repairs coordination, and audit preparation. Offer general administrative and operational support as needed.
Requirements
- GCE O Levels with a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel adaptable in learning new systems. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Outgoing and personable, with a genuine interest in engaging with seniors. Positive attitude, possessing good communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
