Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, organize, govern, and manage projects within a set timeframe, ensuring customer commitments are met.
- Successfully execute New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, ensuring all specifications and requirements are met while advancing toward mass production, including identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Collaborate with customers to define product specifications, requirements, costs, schedules, and quality standards.
- Prepare and provide quotations for tools and molded parts upon receiving a Request for Quotation (RFQ).
- Work closely with the internal tool design and engineering teams on design for manufacturing (DFM) and manage program documentation, technical updates, and engineering changes.
- Regularly update management on the status of ongoing projects.
- Actively seek new customer opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to secure new and additional projects, while expanding the customer base to strengthen the sales pipeline.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Precision Engineering.
- Practical experience and knowledge in plastic injection, injection tool fabrication, or mechanical product design.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with effective presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to guide, motivate, and inspire the project team, ensuring quality output and commitment to deliverables.
- Business-minded, detail-oriented, and cost-conscious.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with a proactive attitude, always looking for ways to improve and implement new approaches to achieve results.
