Job Description

THE ROLE:

You will be part of the Global Operations and Quality (GOQ) organization and will support the execution and continuous improvement of AMD's Value Added Services (VAS) programs. You will focus on day‑to‑day program execution, process standardization, tooling enablement, and development of new offerings.

You will work closely with multiple teams - including Sourcing, Product Engineering, Quality, Planning, Business Units, IT, Finance, Legal, GTC, and Sales Operations-to help improve how VAS programs are executed, tracked, and scaled. You will be hands‑on managing programs and enjoys working across functions, improving processes, and ensuring programs run smoothly from concept through delivery.

You will be expected to operate strategically and independently with internal and external stakeholders.

THE PERSON:

You are a well‑organized, detail‑oriented program manager who enjoys finding creative solutions to unique problems while maintaining embracing a continuous improvement mindset. You are comfortable working across teams, managing dependencies, and driving follow‑through. You communicate clearly, bring structure to ambiguous situations, and are motivated by delivering reliable, repeatable outcomes in a complex operational environment. You must embrace a fast-paced environment with a competitive spirit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support execution of VAS programs, ensuring milestones, risks, and dependencies are actively managed
  • Drive the incorporation of new product and business unit elements into VAS execution frameworks
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability across VAS programs
  • Partner with multiple internal GOQ and Business Unit stakeholders to improve program visibility and execution discipline
  • Track program status, metrics, actions, and escalations using defined governance models
  • Help prepare materials for executive-level program reviews, stakeholder updates, and decision forums

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Extensive years of program or project management experience in semiconductor operations, supply chain, or manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with semiconductor product lifecycle execution, supplier management, customer management, and business continuity
  • Exposure to process improvement, systems/tools implementation, or operational governance
  • Experience working across multiple functional teams in a matrixed organization

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Program or project management certification is desired
