Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in managing cross-functional programs, 5 years of experience in program management or planning for data center infrastructure.
  • Experience with data centers or other infrastructure in the areas of supply planning, site development, construction, design, or engineering.
  • Experience in developing technical insights and translating them into commercial solutions for the business and team.
  • Experience in planning and communication management in a cross-functional leadership role and developing project plans.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in managing cross-functional programs.
  • Ability to deliver clear, concise, and effective communications, tailored to the audience, that translates a data-driven story around key business insights.

As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Responsibilities

  • Own the development of the long-range, robust infrastructure supply plans.
  • Utilize the output from advanced demand and capacity models to drive critical tradeoff decisions and develop optimal multi-year supply plans. Communicate the resulting resource requirements and investment signals to key suppliers and execution partners to ensure alignment and advocate for the optimal planning outcome.
  • Establish robust cross-functional planning governance, enforcing established principles and actively incorporating asset delivery status and risks from site acquisition through construction completion to ensure accountability and on-time performance of the regional plans.
  • Serve as the central bridge and point of contact for the regional planning, cultivating strong relationships to align the internal business drivers of all key stakeholders with the regional infrastructure plans.
