About the Project
Resource Impactz is partnering with a government initiative and an innovative Gen AI mobile app company to empower caregivers and elderly individuals. This programme focuses on using interactive mobile applications and game-based activities to support cognitive engagement and help combat dementia.
Role Overview
We are seeking passionate and responsible individuals to join us as Facilitators. You will guide elderly participants and caregivers in learning and using a Gen AI mobile application designed to improve cognitive health through engaging activities.
This role is ideal for freelancers or individuals looking to dedicate part of their time to meaningful community work.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate 3-hour sessions for elderly participants and caregivers
- Guide users in navigating and using the mobile application
- Support participants in engaging with cognitive games and activities
- Create a positive, patient, and encouraging learning environment
- Assist with basic troubleshooting and participant queries
- Provide feedback on participant engagement and programme effectiveness
Training & Support
- Comprehensive training on the mobile application will be provided
- Ongoing support from the project team
Requirements
- Ability to speak Chinese and English to effectively interact with elderly participants and caregivers
- Additional local languages (e.g., Malay, Tamil, dialects) will be an advantage
- Strong interest in working with elderly individuals
- Patient, empathetic, and good communication skills
- Comfortable using smartphones and mobile applications
- Prior experience in facilitation, caregiving, or community work is an advantage (not mandatory)
- Freelancers or individuals with flexible schedules preferred
Work Schedule
- Sessions are 3 hours each
- Work is primarily scheduled on weekdays
- Session schedule will be provided in advance
- If sessions are scheduled on weekends, additional compensation will be provided
Additional Information
- Sessions will be conducted across multiple locations (West, East, Central)
- Transportation costs will be reimbursed if travel between centres is required on the same day
- Opportunity to extend involvement up to 2 years based on performance and interest
