Job Description

Esker is a worldwide leader in AI-driven process automation software, helping financial and customer service departments digitally transform their source-to-pay (S2P) and order-to-cash (O2C) cycle. Professional Services Consultant (Based in Singapore)

This position is responsible for implementing a suite of software and SaaS solutions, including customer assessment, project scoping, configuration, installation, training, testing, production switch over, project go-live, documentation, and reporting. The role requires conducting business analysis and providing technical consultation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Tasks and Duties

Consultation

  • Deliver technical professional services and solutions remotely or on-site.
  • Assess customers requirements and business needs, analyze their document workflows, define business rules, design solutions, and document project scope.
  • Install and configure Esker solutions and customize solutions using JavaScript.
  • Empower customers through training and ensure the successful handover of all necessary collateral and knowledge so customers and partners can use and grow the solutions after project closure.
  • Manage projects and customers to deliver successful outcomes and ensure customers receive maximum value from the products.

Post Sales

  • Address technical issues related to installations and configurations, feature requests, and system bugs.
  • Continue developing the maturity of Professional Services to achieve team and organizational goals.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments and knowledge regarding Esker solutions.
  • Monitor evolving customer requirements, advocate for Esker offerings, and identify opportunities to expand the Esker software footprint.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

Required Work Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in software implementation, preferably in a software company or system integrator.

Technical Knowledge

  • Good knowledge of ERP logics such as SAP, JDE, or Oracle (AP, FI, MM), or accounting software like Sage, Coda, or Sun Account is a bonus.
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript or other scripting languages.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with cloud solutions.
  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server), Microsoft Windows Server, and integration with SAP or other major ERPs is a bonus.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and finance is a plus.

  • Ability to conduct design and requirement assessment workshops and engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working in a client-facing environment.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.

  • Willingness and flexibility to travel domestically and internationally to meet business needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Languages

  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Knowledge of Mandarin, Cantonese, or French is
