Role Description We are searching for a manager to lead the planning, development and delivery of professional development initiatives for built environment practitioners. The role is responsible for sourcing and coordination with external consultants, trainers or partners, in implementing relevant courses or tailored training and development programmes, conducted upon identification of industry capability requirements. 

Responsibilities:

·       Research, formulate and implement programme through professional assessment. 

·       Initiate/develop, plan, organise, and administer the development programmes and activities such as courses, workshops, conferences, seminars, and other events.

·       Coordinating and negotiating contracts with partners, consultants, or training vendors, in determining schedule training courses/programmes.

·       Responsible for sourcing and invitation of industry leaders, reputable speakers or specialists for talks/conferences.

·       Manage revenue and expenditure budget for these programmes and activities, including sourcing of funds/sponsorship for the large-scale annual talks/conferences.

·       Prepare EDMs and publicity collaterals to promote the selling of the programme/event

·       Evaluate and choose teaching materials to ensure high-quality training courses.

·       Conduct assessment to measure usefulness/effectiveness of completed programmes and ensure relevancy of the training programme/event, including proposing strategies for improvement

·       Assist in organising corporate/social events and related activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisation Development, Marketing or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of property industry and experience in event management will be an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong desktop and in-person research, presentation, proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting skills.
  • Resourceful, independent, energetic, determined, and highly capable disposition.
