Products / Project Engineer (water purification) 6mths Contract - West

Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the water filtration and purification industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Product Engineer to support new product development, line extension projects, and VAVE initiatives. The role is based in West - Singapore, easily accessible.

This is a 6-month contract position for an ongoing project, with the possibility to convert to a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate development and launch of new products and line extensions.

• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Quality, R&D) and external stakeholders (customers, vendors) to meet product requirements.

• Manage project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates ensure smooth handoff to manufacturing.

• Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation of product designs.

• Prepare engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, test plans, and BOMs.

• Support supplier development, material qualification, and operational setup for product launches.

• Recommend product improvements and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience in product development and project management with cross-functional teams.

  BS in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred).

  Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and SolidWorks.

  Knowledge of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.

• Familiarity with industry regulatory standards experience in water filtration systems is an advantage.
